Diese Lektion von wrong way thar und Variationen des allemande thar können Sie irgendwann zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt den Tänzern beibringen, deshalb ist diese Figur auch mit einem kleinen *Stern markiert. Das muss nicht jetzt sein. Ich füge das nur hier an, um das Kapitel dieser Figuren abzuschließen und zu den folgenden interessanten Lektionen überzugehen.

*wrong way thar = neue Formation
Diese Variation der allemande thar Formation kann nach jedem passenden *right arm turn* gebildet werden. Die innen stehenden Tänzer bilden dabei einen left hand star und gehen rückwärts. Die äußeren Tänzer halten sich an den inneren mit den rechten Unterarmen fest und gehen vorwärts. Diese Formation dreht im Uhrzeigersinn.

wrong way = der "falsche Weg". Die Ansagearten make a wrong way thar oder go to a wrong way thar wie bei allemande thar bereits beschrieben, werden auch in dieser Formation angewandt. Die Auflösungsvarianten shoot the star und slip the clutch bleiben in den Definitionen gleich.

all four boys make a left hand star - turn your partner by the right - keep her and make a wrong way thar (boys in with your left hand and back up - girls outside push) - - shoot the star - allemande left.....

walk around the left hand lady - see saw your partner - turn your corner by the right to a wrong way thar (boys back up) - - - slip the clutch - right and left grand....

four ladies chain 3/4 - circle left - allemande left to an allemande thar - shoot the star with a full turn - turn your corner by the right for a wrong way thar - slip the clutch - right and left grand...

allemande left your corner - box the gnat with your partner - wrong way right and left grand - when you meet your partner turn her by the right for a wrong way thar - - shoot the star and go backward two to another wrong way thar (directional: left hand pull by - turn the next by the right for a wrong way thar) - - shoot the star again and go backward two to another wrong way thar (directional: left hand pull by - turn the next by the right for a wrong way thar) - - shoot the star - allemande left.....

Warum sind immer die boys im star? Die Definition hindert nicht, auch die girls dies gelegentlich machen zu lassen. Zugegeben, die thar Kombinationen sind immer nur kleine Spielereien zwischen den Trainingssequenzen des patter calling, aber wenn man dies gelegentlich "anders herum" tanzen lässt, stellt sich heraus, dass enorme Positionsunsicherheiten auftreten. Deshalb sind die folgenden Kombinationen nicht leicht und mit Vorsicht und mehrmals anzuwenden, bis es klappt:

all four boys make a left hand star - turn your partner by the right - go to your corner and turn her by the left and make an allemande thar - the girls back up - shoot the star - right and left grand....

allemande left - right and left grand - when you meet your partner, turn her by the right and make a wrong way thar - girls back up - slip the clutch and walk around your corner - swing your partner....

circle left - allemande left - box the gnat with your partner - go forward two to an allemande thar (directional: right hand pull by - turn the next by the left = corner) - girls back up in the allemande thar - - - shoot the star - right and left grand....

(nicht einfach!) circle left - allemande left to an allemande thar (boys back up) - - shoot the star go forward 3 hands (right - left - right) and make a wrong way way thar - (girls in the star back up) - - shoot the star go forward 3 hands (left - right - left) and make an allemande thar (boys back up) - - shoot the star - right and left grand....
