split two – wir 'spalten' das Paar vor uns = beide gehen zwischen den äußeren Tänzer durch, (nicht mit pass thru verwechseln).

continue call: hier können wir mit separate fortfahren! - separate – go around "one", come down the middle - right and left thru, you are home!

Ausgangsformation: facing dancers

Das aktive bzw. angesprochene Paar geht vorwärts auf das ihm gegenüber stehende Paar zu und teilt dieses in der Mitte. Das ‘gespaltene’ Paar weicht gleichzeitig zur Seite aus, macht damit dem anderen Paar Platz und schließt danach wieder die Lücke. Nicht mit pass thru verwechseln!

Anmerkung: An dieser Stelle kann split two noch nicht so oft wie gewünscht angewendet werden, da z.B. die Vierteldrehung eines star thru oder lead right noch fehlt. Zur Vorübung reicht dies aber. Achten Sie auch darauf, dass bei jeder line of four die Hände gefasst werden, auch bei einer two boys and two girls Situation. Es kommt nur auf die dadurch entstehende Orientierungshilfe an!

side (head) ladies chain, while the heads (sides) do a half sashay, heads (sides) pass thru, separate around one, make a line of four, go forward and back, ladies chain, right and left thru, join hands and circle left ......allemande left .....etc.

four ladies chain, heads (sides) pass thru and separate around one to a line of four (two boys and two girls) go forward and back, all join hands and circle left, swing the nearest girl and promenade her home

heads (sides) right and left thru and a half sashay, pass thru and separate around one, come down the middle, pass thru and separate around "two" (Achtung - zählen!), make lines (two boys and two girls) go forward and back, all join hands and circle left, swing the nearest girl and promenade her home

Die nachfolgende Sequenz kann sowohl für Patter als auch für singing calls (figure heads & sides) verwendet werden. Sie müssen nur statt des allemande left ein swing corner als Progression verwenden. Achtung: dies ist ein Schnellsprecher – macht aber Spaß!
